MKII Carb question

#1 PostAuthor: njwmct » Wed Dec 26, 2018 4:32 pm

Can any one tell me the thread size of the float bowel drain screws fitted to the Mikuni VM28SS carbs ?
i.e the carbs fitted to both Z1000 MKII & Z1R.

Cheers,

Nick

Hi Nick
I don't know the size but they're the same as all the others (Z1A, Z1B, Z900A4, Z1000A1, Z1000A2, Z1R,...)Alltough some have drain holes and others don't.
You can buy them seperately with the O-ring at Z-Power.

Thanks guys that's very helpful.

I want to get some adapters made up so that I can set all the service fuel levels at the same time - unless someone knows where I can buy them?

Take a look at "classickawaparts" in Holland. Willem sells the adapters. I have one myself and it works great!

Willem understands English, so go for it!
