ZRX1100 with 320MM discs instead of 310mm discs

#1 PostAuthor: scott » Thu Jan 03, 2019 1:42 pm

Guys, just fitting a ZRX1100 front end to my Gpz1100. I'm using my Dymag wheels from my ZX7R. The Dymags have nice Brembo 320mm discs fitted. I get the impression that if i continue down the 320mm route instead of the 310mm, then i will require some form of brake caliper brackets. Has this been done before, i would imagine so. If so, would anyone have any information on the brackets required. Has anyone made them before, does anyone have any details at all please? Can they be purchased?

I have a zrx front end on my Lawson and although it has Ap lockheed calipers fitted, I might have an old bracket that i can get a stencil off, if you need it.

Rob, i'll be fitting the same calipers that i had on my ZX7R, 4 pot Nissins with the 90mm spacing. If you have a bracket that could be stenciled, i would appreciate it very much.

Pm me your address and I will send you the stencil, if i can find the bracket. The bike is away at the moment having its timing sorted, so I cant use the fitted brakes.
