Z1 Lower Fork Leg Restoration

Gents, when the lower fork legs are showing corrosion, pitting, stone chips etc what is the best and easiest method to restore them so they look the same as when they were new? I don't want highly polished fork legs, they must have the cross grazing and lacquer on them if you know what I mean.

I Glass bead blast mine then scotchbrite them for markings then re lacquer them
good as new :D

Wet & dry the scratches, Scotchpad used in one direction only to get the brushed look finish then a few coats of Lacquer.
