i recently bought some pumper carbs which came with no air screws or springs!!!. does anyone know how long they should be?? (screws +springs) probably the same as non-pump vm28 but I'd like to be sure before ending up with wrong ones. cheers in advance.. m

give the guys at Allens performance a ring to be sure. They will also have the parts you need.

thanks Warren, I'll check the link, i have possibly sourced some already, but the seller has various lengths. I'm aiming to test run the carbs then possibly fit keyster kits if required. cheers m

Mark,
I've got a set of 28mm pumpers from a 1000. I can check them and let you know if you'd like?

The ones fitted seem to be quite a way down the passage way so I'm wondering of not original or correct. However, they came off a running bike which had just been setup on the dyno...
24mm Total length
19mm tip to bottom of thread
I forget to measure thew spring length, but will do.
Hope this helps
