I lifted the dust cover on the Z at the weekend and was disheartened to find a smattering of white oxide on the cases. May be I only did a second rate job if cleaning it back in September but I started thinking – does anyone use one of these: -

Are they practical? Or is this the way to go: -

I have used the vac bag. It's a bit of a faff to get the bike in (mind you it was in a tight space). The bags are pretty robust and they do work. The drying agent is in a sealed bag and this lasts for months if you seal the big bag properly. Along with the heavy duty tie pull, I put a couple more on it. Bike was exactly as I put it in there when I took it out months later.

If your space is vaguely air tight or can be then get a dehumifier instead and keep everything in the garage rust free, not just whats in the bag.

coat in acf50.

I also use a dehumidifier in a double garage and don't have a problem.
