What twinshock swingarm are you guys running, I want to run a 17" 4 1/2" wheel with a 160 tyre. Pics are nice I like pics

Picked up a couple of arms yesterday for trial fitting with the 17" wheels

The bottom one looks like a 550 Zephyr ?

It'll go in, but will need machining work at the frame end, plus some plates making to stop the arm bearings sliding off the pivot axle. (The Zephyr frame fits flush to the arm which eliminates that happening. The Zed frame is not the same unfortunately)

It will take some fiddling to get the wheel and tyre in the arm and centred but running tru to the gearbox sprocket, I used a different Zephyr arm and ended up using a 520 chain to get frame/tyre clearance....I also had to shift the brake caliper torque arm bracket and caliper underneath as I had no room left on the top of the arm for the bolt. It was that tight !! Lots of machining work on the sprocket carrier too to get the GSX750 wheel in (on mine)

The 750 Zephyr arm is a bit wider and so gives you a bit more room at the wheel end - same problem at the frame end though.

Mine has been on the go for months and it still isn't finished

Don't forget you will also need spacers for the top of the frame to keep the shocks straight

Bandit 1200 swingarm and complete back wheel. Dave Solomon see does the full kit to adapt. Top hat spacers twin shock mounts and top shock mounts. My last Zed had one fitted when I bought it with the standard top shock mounts. My latest Z1a build has just had one fitted using Dave’s parts.

Either would fit a mk2 frame. Weld on shock mounts are available form grumpy1260's

The photo does not have the top hat spacers that allow the standard swingarm axle to be used and gives the correct spacing to allow it to fit straight in to the frame. They come with Daves full conversion kit.

Kinda hopeing the davida will go in without to much hassle, would like to keep the footpegs intact, hopefully

To do it accurately you need a drilling/welding jig that triangulates off the s/a pivot and s/a shock mounts.

If the S/A shock mounts are wider than mounts on the frame you can buy or get made some screw on extensions for the original top shock mounts.
