Z1000 rear brake
Folks
This is the brake pedal on my thou registered as 1978 .
The V5 confirms the frame has been replaced with one without a dedicated Kawasaki number so I cannot be certain it is a MK2.
The diagram on Zpowers site differs as well so what have I got here?
Cheers.

Re: Z1000 rear brake
Hi Philippe
the whole bike is a lash up hence the question.
Frame has been stamped DA347 in the usual place so no help at all.
looking like it's the wrong pedal.

Re: Z1000 rear brake
Hi
give us some more pictures, maybe that might help to determine the frame and other bits.

Re: Z1000 rear brake
Its not an A1, A2 or B2 brake pedal but does look like a Z1r pedal.

Re: Z1000 rear brake
what's the engine number hank? if its kztoode.... that indicates a z1r, the brake pedal assembly supports the theory, the re-stamped frame D might lean towards z1r too?? can you add some more photos? cheers m

Re: Z1000 rear brake
Hi swirl.
Back of the shed. Whole thing is a complete lash up of bits and bobs. Bought it for engine, frame and z1B bodywork. Have spare front and rear 17" setup so was going to monoshock it.
Engine is a MK2 and was buggered so I've spent a ruck on rebuild. Got other projects as you know so just putting it back on the road as a complete bike for bimbling about on.

Re: Z1000 rear brake
Folks
I am convinced it is the pedal. The pivot is roughly 63mm long but the pedal 56mm as the picture shows. I expect if a Z1000 A1/2 pedal is measured it will be 63ish
