1973 z1 uk rear mud guard

#1 PostAuthor: slacker » Wed Mar 20, 2019 11:23 am

Hi, just had the chrome removed from the rear mud guard (long type). This exposed 2 small drilling’s, I believe for a reflector. Should a uk 1973 z1 rear mud guard have a rear reflector. Should I fill the drilling’s to make the hole flush with the mudguard so they disappear when re-chomed or leave evidence of the drilling’s being there to keep originality?
Thank in advance

uk spec z1-z1b had no holes in the guard and z900-z1000 a1/a2 did have the two holes.
