Currently got a Yuasa YB14L-A2 which has lasted about 7 years
What would you guys recommend as a replacement or upgrade?

I'd stick with the Yuasa myself.

Can't wrong with Yuasa, but I also have used quite a lot of Motobatt. I tend to buy whichever is cheapest or has the highest CCA.

Another vote for Motobatt - always change my batteries for these and never had any issues
Think this is the one you need

Laws introduced last year mean that traditional lead acid batteries have to be filled at point of sale. Meaning that all mail orders have to be MF type like Motobatt.

Hasn't that changed again?
I have recently bought batteries online supplied with an acid pack.
MandP confirmed to me last week they could now again supply Yuasa batteries with an acid pack.

Why the home office - they are in charge of the Police and Prisons ?

The law was introduced to by them to prevent acid attacks.
