It will run fine, consider getting a Pingel tap as you will get a reserve

You can get them with a twin outlet, I think I got mine from Z1 enterprises,

The vacuum tap is opened by suction from the inlet and that is all it does , open the tap ....I do not see any reason why you could not run slide carbs on a vacuum operated tap

Thanks Chris and Mark

Just run a vac pipe from one of the rubber inlet manifolds where you would normally attach the vac gauges.
It will do exactly the same job and when you want to balance the carbs just unplug the tap vac pipe from the intake boot and use prime to get the fuel feed.

Well the stock tap was ok , but i changed to a single pipe pingel , as the trader said would flow easy enough , Guess what it didnt fuel starvation about 50mph

Ps are stock fuel lines 6mm
Re: Running non vacuum carbs off a vacuum tap z1000
Think i have found the culprit , o ring on a drain screw breaking up , and where i filed opening in tank for pingel , i did slosh the tank out , but still can see , small powdery metal when draining carbs
