Anyone still got a std Z900-A4 with the pull-up hazzard switch?
I'm having a few problems getting mine working.
Indicators flash correctly with audible, switch to off
and raise hazzard switch and they flash far far to quick
well the hazzard flashes si quick you can barely see the indicator
lamps flash.

I've tried 4 flash relays & two seperate 3 wire rectifiers
and no difference. Hmmm

Thanks guys for offers of help, I'll be in touch.
I'm wondering if the hazzard switch isn't putting the LH & RH circuits in parallel when operated, the manual shows it as a simple swtch.
I presume there's a resistor in the flasher relay to ensure
the flash freq is regulated.
I'll test this quickly and let you know.

Cheers Mike

Mike, Your issue sounds like an incorrect rating flasher or a fault in the circuitry, a simple bi-metallic flasher relay is regulated by the load connected to it, higher load=more current=faster flashing. It shouldn't flash at all if you take all the indicator bulbs out...that's the first thing I would do. If it still operates, ie you hear it clicking, disconnecting parts of the circuit until it doesn't will highlight the problem area. If it doesn't operate, then it's a load vs rating issue with the bulbs.

Probably!
