Pingel fuel tap not shutting off. It looks like there's an 'O' ring not sitting properly inside? Thought I'll buy a service kit, (readily available); but there's no obvious way (ie screws, circlip etc) it comes apart.
So,before I get all ham fisted, can someone tell me how to open up a pingel tap.
Cheers freddy

It's single outlet. I've found an old page about 'you must have their specific tools' to press out the tap and an American company who specialise in servicing them. I was under the impression (especially with all the service kits available) that numerous people would have already serviced their taps. Hopefully somebody will pop up soon with a solution

Re: Pingel fuel tap
I just bought a new Pingel tap (utelizing the old base) for £99 when my 'O 'ring went south but I needed one quick, which may not be the cheapest option but needs must.
