I've had a read about, what is the general opinion on bracing, are all the braces below required, would you add any extra in like on the Z1R frame below

Me being a young wipper snapper is struggling with the kosman sizes, say where it says 2.5" is that 2 inches and half a inch, or is it 2inches and 5/16ths of a inch, same with the 8.2" is that 8inches and 0.2of a inch (I.e 20%) or is it 8" and 2/16ths thanks a young chap

2.5" = 2 1/2 inches = 63.5mm
8.2" = 8 13/64 inches = 208.28mm

just multiply the number by 25.4 to give you milimetre equivalent.

My humble opinion, (for what it's worth), What is the bike going to be used for ? If it is for Drag racing, Track days, etc - I would brace it. If it's for road use I would not think it would need bracing.

who knows what the future holds, 17'' rubber and hopefully ohlins all round is going to improve it, while its in bits im going to brace it, i will make it all myself and get my mate to weld it so price is going to be minimal
