Generally speaking don't use fully synth in these motors unless it's formulated for roller cranks.
I use Rock oil TRM 20/60 in my tuned motors but for stock stuff it would be a waste and any decent 10/40 semi is more than good enough.
Lots of stories of slipping clutches, oil leaks and excessive exhaust smoking when trying fully synth although the smoking does usually clear if you can put up with it as it's down to the fully synths flushing effect.

Debbens used to be its greatest advocate, possibly still are havnt spoken with them about it for a few years. Its got added zinc, potassium, and a few other essential ingredients for camshaft break in and other functions that are absent from some other oils. Holland and Barrett for youre engine. But it is also incompatible with something or things which i never got to the bottom of having seen it turn to 'string' in the sump, oil lines and oil cooler! That could be RTV silicone, high octane oxygenated fuels, moisture / condensation or something else it encountered. Other than that its re-assuringly expensive.

I used to use Amsoil - as recommended by Ray DEBBEN.

Can't remember if synth, but it was the formula specially developed for motorcycles with roller bearing cranks - & Hardley D's!!!

Ran me old 1075 - Z1000 for many years - countless 1/4 miles, etc - no problems. Did have a lock-up clutch tho'

Kendall's is also another of their recommendations.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Amsoil fully synthetic in my Zed from Debben last 5 years no problems.
But Ray no longer stocks Amsoil - as Amsoil wanted him to stock the full range which included agricultural products.
