I'm sure this is applicable across other models with air forks but what's the best way to pump up and check the pressure of air forks? They're only 7.5psi !

I just used to use an old style bicycle hand pump and then check the pressure with a gauge.
There's not a lot of air volume in the leg and you don't need much pressure so it's a bit trial and error to begin with. Just go with one pump of the pump, then check the pressure and adjust from there.
Without checking the manual IIRC you need to make sure the fork leg is fully extended too ?

Thanks RickM, I did wonder as the schrader valves always leek some air after removing the pump and when you remove the gauge. As it's only 7.5psi I might have to give it a few tries to get it set.

As above; use an old school bicycle pump. I also used a low range trials tyre pressure gauge when setting mine. The process of testing with the gauge looses some of the pressure so if youre target is 7, pump them beyond that to say 11 PSI and test (2PSI lost) test again (2PSI lost) bingo target 7.

Thanks Al, I've ordered one from fleabay. Once the new seals are in I'll go for the bike pump and hopefully the air gauge will be here.

Thanks all
