Seat for Gpz1100B1

#1 PostAuthor: scott » Thu Jul 11, 2019 12:30 pm

Guys, where can i get a seat for my Gpz1100b1. I would like one of the seats from a Eddie Lawson replica, as shown at the top of our Z1Owners web page. Any ideas where i can get one. May be willing to part exchange my Gpz1100B1 Giulari seat.

I think so also but haven't had it confirmed don't see why not.

I'm sure someone on a higher pay grade will inform me.

I suggest ringing Bob for an actual price than going by his ebay store price.

Had a couple of seat covers from here.
Functional, adequate, robust.
Think he does some foams and maybe other bits too.

Al, you very knowledgeable, will a z1100r seat fit on a Gpz1100b1. The manual covers Gpz, z1000j, z1000r.....so I presume it will fit?

Ha, i only know what i know same as everyone else. I am guessing the J, B, 1000R and 1100R share the same seat base with the same front tabs and same swinging catch arms and locking mechanism. Happy to be corrected. I think P&K seats may be able to do you a foam for a J B or 1000R / 1000R base to mimic the Lawson 1100R and i believe they have covers for some models inc. 1100R. I think Phil may have been a member on here relatively recently!!!

Bob the seat has a complete seat for a z1100r Lawson seat for sale on eBay. I’d like to buy that one if it fits. He talked about sending him my Gpz1100 giulari seat which he can modify. I don’t want to mess with the giulari seat.....I saw one go for 400 dollars in the states
