Hi Folks,
Is there any difference between the Z1, Z900 and Z1000 UK grab rails? - the spare one I have is exactly the same as the one fitted to my UK A4 with the exception that it has a small hole drilled on the underside of the grab rail which doesn't appear to have been drilled post manufacture (not sure why it would be?), so it's got me wondering - initially I thought it might have been rechromed and the hole was for a bath hook, but the chrome looks pretty weathered/original.
Cheers,
Andrew

I thought the models from 76-78 (Z900A4 and Z1000A1 & A2) had the indicator mounts on the OEM grabrail, whereas the earlier bikes had frame mounted rear indicators.

Thanks Tim,
Just checked Dave Marsden's book and my mate's UK Z1 and yes, the UK Z1 rear indicators were fitted to the frame - so I guess the question is; is there a difference between the UK Z900 and UK Z1000 grab rails and why the hole and who really gives a toss?
Cheers

The ones with the lugs are an abomination and should never be fitted to anything...
