Can anyone tell me if the 1100/1000 share the same rear master cylinder? I'm asking this as I have been unable to obtain a repair kit for my 1100 from Kawasaki/ZPower etc, part NLA, closest I can see is the 1000R but it also looks like the part for most of the 1100 range is the same, any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Pretty sure they do, along with the Z1000J and GPZ1100B1/B2

I bought a repair kit for the 1000J for mine (1000J) and its been fine for about three years + on track. The bit that was NLA was the rubber boot / cover / dust seal, call it what you will. I used one from and old kit i had from a MK I Ford Capri rear wheel slave cylinder!!!! Looked more or less identical and does the same job.

Thanks for the helpful replies and PM from Dave, as the bike was booked in for an MOT today and chose now to lose fluid, I had taken a chance and ordered a Tourmax repair kit which arrived yesterday.
Googling its part number MSR-401, it seems to be listed on various parts sites as fitting just about every 1100/750 Z/GPZ models, so, if the 1100 shares a common master cylinder, hopefully that will do the trick.
Will advise of outcome.

So today, the bike went down to my local trusted bike shop DBS in Pumpherston, West Lothian, Davie Butchart may be known to local members, but if you don't, not much gets past him as he is an old school Kawasaki mechanic.
His first problem was separating the banjo bolt from the master cylinder as it had been cross threaded, so once that was done, he ran a tap through it and fitted new banjo bolt etc.
He said the repair kit was not 100% identical, (sorry got bit lost in all the technical stuff) but having fitted it, and the reservoir topped up, it bled ok so he did a wee bit of driving around dragging the back brake, with no issues of the caliper binding or anything and he cleaned it underneath where all the fluid had been leaking, no damage to powder coating.
It looks spotless underneath, all seems ok, MOT done, total cost £81, I reckon thats ok?
