Exhaust

Getting in to the detail. I noticed when I stood back admiring my A4 from the back that the exhaust set up on the left was closer to the suspension base than on the right.
On closer inspection the frame looked a little closer too but this was easily remedied and just needed tweaking.
However it still looks closer and the right hand side splays out slightly.
Also the gap where the 2 exhausts meet looks larger on the righ than the left.
Im thinking the bile may have been dropped at some point and although there is no evidance of this on the exhausts mayb they were squashed togethe at the fixing point.
The exhausts have been completely overhauled but i thougth i would ask in case im missing something?
I guess i could shim it a little.

Sometimes when they get dropped, the bit where they bolt onto the frame gets pushed in a bit. I've had this on a couple of bikes, I've pulled it back out with a ratchet strap.

Thanks for that and exactly what I think has happened. I managed to pull the frame out so its the same as the other side but I'm thinking maybe the pipes squashed together where they get bolted through to the frame.

I didn't see this when I inspected the pipes before they go re chromed. I'm thinking to simply shim them off on the back where they bolt to the frame.
