coil discharge

Had the waxy substance discharge from the coil onto the frame, suspect i may have left the ignition on as the battery appears to be goosed and it was a new matt gel type. anyone throw some light on it. i have some dyna coils to go in but if something else is awry then i need to knwo

Do you have a dyna S fitted too ?
Leaving the ignition on leaves the coils constantly powered too which leads to them overheating and will explain the discharge and flat battery.

Thanks that what I was thinking. I think it has totall goosed the battery as it has been on the oximiser but is showing as being incorrectly connected which it isn’t it is correct and it will not charge at all
