Hi guys
I have to mount a Wiseco multi layer head gasket on a Z1000A1 with Wiseco pistons of 73 mm. There are no other changes made to the engine.
My question: do I have to use an O-ring around the camchain tunnel or not? If not, do I use a liquid gasket around the camchain tunnel or is the gasket alone enough?
It's a one piece multi layer gasket from Wiseco.
Thanks for an answer!

Yes, run a bead of RTV silicone in the groove and clamp everything up.

Don't use the big O ring round the cam chain tunnel, fill the groove where it goes with gasket sealant

Hi Julian
thanks for your answer!
I did fill the groove with liquid gasket sealant and it seems to be OK. The engine ran yesterday, smooth like a sewing machine.
