Anyone got good advice on fitting a new fuel cap ie pushing the fitting pin in. Don’t want to damage the tank But if there’s a smart way to do it I am all ears

Use a small flat metal driver e.g. a straight allen key with a little grease on the pin and then gentle tap with a pin hammer - oh, and don't hold your breath for too long!!

i use a anti tamper torx bit with the holder the roll pin fits inside the torx bit & prevents it slipping of when you tap it in
