Has anyone here repainted their badges ? The tank badges on my A1 are ordinary to say the least and I have some other badges I'd like to refurb. There is black, white and silver. Obviously the silver is the badge draw material, so do you mask it or just wipe off the wet paint ? Is it best to do black first then white or what is the best process. I will be getting a decent airbrush for the job. Though I shake like a leaf and am blind as a bat so not too confident.
Any hints, tips or tricks greatly appreciated.

Re: Refurbing Badges
Let me say from the off I am just guessing
Strip whole thing
liqued mask the edge
paint whole thing white
Then either mask the white as well and spray or use a brush for the black
Love the satin black

Re: Refurbing Badges
Hi,
I recently did mine.
Stripped the old paint
Primed with etch primer
sprayed them all white
Masked up very carefully and then sprayed black but did not matter if black went on the top surface that ends up silver which made masking easier.
Rubbed down paint very carefully across the top to get it back to silver, working down to very fine paper
