Here's a pic of the Marving on my A4. The end can is up fairly up-swept and I machined my own cap that I had chromed...a mate had one on his Z1 and it sat a lot flatter due to different fixing position.
If it's too loud....too bad.

Superb bike! Love the Z900, was what got me indoctrinated into Kawasaki’s, the Bike mag test picture of the A4 at night on Chelsea Bridge, magical! Had 2 Marvings, good pipes, nice sounding with a touch of Piper about the rear pipe!
