Fuel tap repair

Z1000st. The fuel tap doesn't turn off, it constantly flows a little. I've checked the diaphragm and that seems OK, I've replaced the small o ring, so that leaves the rubber disc that controls the flow from on, reserve and prime. I think it's permanently a little on prime. My questions are, can the runner disc be bought on it's own, if not, ,what are the repair kit makes to go for. Ebay and others show loads ranging from a tenner to 70 squids. I've read that a lot of the repairs kits are a waste of money, hence, the reason for asking?
Could always put an inline fuel shut off tap in I suppose, but then when I forget it chucks fuel all over the place, or worse into the sump if an overflow is blocked.
Cheers

Do a search for the part number for your tap and see what other models it was fitted to,I did this and found a new old stock one for my Z1100r.
