Good Evening
Could some one tell me how much I need to remove from the crankcase mout and where when fitting 1015 barrels to an early crankcase
The engine is stripped and the barrels do slide on and into the mouths but are slightly askew and will not seat on the dowels correctly
Thanks Chris

Re: 1015 Barrels on Z1 Engine
Most of the material comes off the rear of the case mouth.
Never measured it but it's only around 5mm - ish.
Just take equal amounts off each mouth until the barrels drop on.
With the cases split this will be an easy job to see where it fouls and should only take 10 mins or so with a decent half round file.
