top idle sprocket

Anyone know what the difference between the z900 and z1000 top idle sprocket assembly? they are different part numbers but the APE ones do both bikes

They are a different design & not interchangeable with a Std 900 Cam cover ....if you wish to fit one you will need to change the Cam Cover to Z1000 as well....this due to a wider surface area where the wider Idler sits below. In my opinion the Z1000 idler wheel is a better design than the 900 one, as it can be disassembled easier than the 900 one that is designed as a one piece none serviceable item !
