front sprocket KZ650B
Whilst the Z1000 project is ongoing I've been a bit rash and got a KZ650B i978, just changing the chain and sprockets the old front sprocket has a hole for the tab washer to fit into the new sprocket has no hole. Any known fixes?

Loctite the nut or drill a hole for the tab..

Re: front sprocket KZ650B
Get a splined washer with fold over tabs that lock the nut from a later model.

Re: front sprocket KZ650B
Cobalt drill should do it .
Splined washer doesn't usually work on the early bikes as the shafts spline stops short of the sprocket face.
You can also use a clutch center lock nut as it's the same thread.
