KZ900 A4 engine & frame

Hello
I have recently purchased a KZ900 A4 and was looking at the frame and engine number Z1F-115875 & Z1E-135525, I see that the numbers are 19,650 apart. Has this had a replacement engine or is that common on KZ900's?
My Z1-900 is only about 60 apart in the numbers...
The bike has done 25k and seems to be original.
