Z900 Indicator Stems - difference between OEM and pattern?

How can I tell the difference between OEM and pattern long Z900 indicator stems, apart from price and availability?

OEM have STANLEY marked on the stem boss.
Also many pattern stems have the threaded stud longer than originals

I don't think there is a vast difference, the main one being where the stem meets the flange. Originals are more scalloped with a significant curve to them, if you look at the patterns they are more straight. Oh and the stamping of course.....

Thanks folks, will look at the shape of the curve and pop a couple off and look for 'Stanley'.
