If its been standing a while, drain the float bowls , as a start point and maybe new plugs.
Todays fuel is so crap it gums up the pilot circuits in the carbs very easily.

If the fuels been in there longer than a few months, drain it out and put some fresh stuff in to be sure.

Plugs would be my first "port of call" as they are prone to fouling with the ethanol fuels nowadays, a new decent set is well worth it.
