#1 PostAuthor: Stogmuller » Tue May 12, 2020 9:35 pm

Do the footrest support pins that go into the frame that the footrests themselves sit on screw into the frame,,? Or do they just push in and can be drifted out from rear after removing the nuts,,
Bikes a 1976 Z900,, :D

You shouldn't be able to remove the nuts before unscrewing the footrest mounts.
The nut threads onto the mount first, which is then screwed into the frame & the nut is then tightened to lock the mount in position.

As already said they screw into the frame with the 'half nut' locking them in place. They will be tight though!
Replacements are available but not cheap - http://www.z-power.co.uk/z900-z1-z1a-z1 ... et-4-front.
