Weak spark on No.2 and No.3

#1 PostAuthor: Gavin » Wed Jun 24, 2020 10:14 am

Hi guys,
I was out the other day on my Z900 A4 and the bike started to run a little on the rough side, just checked the spark across the 4 leads and No. 2 and 3 is a lot weaker than 1 & 4 .
I have a dyna pickup and dyna coils fitted and the wired George mod, how do I go about testing whether the coil is at fault Or should I be looking elsewhere.
TIA

swap coils over, if weak spark moves to 1&4 it will be coil

Are those the same coils that can have a tendency to short-out on the frame if not careful ?
(hopefully, others with more knowledge will comment on this)

Appears to be sorted now, found a fair bit of corrosion where the lead enters the coil
