Wheel lacing attempt!

Wheel lacing attempt!
My first ever attempt to lace the front wheel on my Z1-B following the rechroming of the rims. Have not tensioned the spokes, just taken up the slack as will leave the finishing to an expert. I cannot believe I've got it right so can someone please tell me where I've gone wrong. Now for the rear!

Re: Wheel lacing attempt!
Got the spokes from Z-Power. Central Wheels in Birmingham tensioned and trued them, and I balanced them myself with a kit from Bikers Toolbox. Now installed as per pics attached.

Great job!! Looks fantastic
Re: Wheel lacing attempt!
G8 job , use the spoke key and tension them till they ping the same , a dial gauge will help you get it spot on in terms of hor and vert alignment , I did my h2 front and rear - 1st time doing it and I got run out to 0.3mm and needed nearly no balance weights (5g) tyre fitter said it was the best he’d seen , he said new bikes were a disgrace apparently Being up to 3mm out and 30g + weights / one thing the z1 wheels are not laced just spoked — lacing is where you go in and out of other spokes - too much for me
yes you can have too many bikes
