What bike is this riders footpeg off?

So, after trying to fit what I thought was a NOS Z900 left hand footpeg turns out it's off something else, in fact for some reason I've got two of them!

Can anyone tell me from what its off so I can flog them? It's got the same pattern on the rubber as my Z900 but has a round peg (or oval) and my Z900 are roundish but with chamfers.

Thanks Warren,

I'm guessing they may also be common to other models, any suggestions anyone?

Cheers,
Andrew

Goto cmnsl Site look up the part on the diags then click the part description and it lists all models it is used on.

Well looking through the CMS website part diagrams was a useful and confusing exercise - the OE Parts Manual lists the Z900 Left-hand footpeg as 34028-011, so does CMS. I know it doesn't fit the Z900. CMS also list the same part number and show a round peg (like photos above) for the KH250 to KH500, the Z650 (B1- C2) and the Z400.

Thanks for the photo Warren. I had a B1 in the early 80's great bike, thanks also for posting the MC road test, enjoyed the read.

Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Not sure how long you've had those footrests, but I also have a pair on the shelf...bought from ebay about 17-18 years ago. They were being sold as Z1/Z900 items at the time but I realised when they arrived they weren't correct. I believe they are early pattern items...you'll note the rubber isn't the same as the Kawa items, much softer.

Hi Steve,
That's interesting, as all the pattern ones I've seen have three holes on the end - I've had them about 3 years and they came in Kawasaki bags which doesn't mean anything and the rubber isn't soft.
Cheers, Andrew

Bill,
They are no use to me so if you want the pair, how does £50 plus postage sound?
Cheers, Andrew

You're right Andrew, the pattern ones do have 3 holes in the end of the rubber...I should have spotted that!
