Rear axle confusion.
Just about to loose fit the rear wheel on my Z1-B and just checked the workshop manual to ensure correct orientation and found that the photo's and the schematic don't agree! IIRC, and noting that I did strip this bike down 43 years ago so my memory may be playing tricks, the castle nut was on the sprocket side. I've attached the relevant pics from the manual. This is the official Kawasaki Shop Manual, Revision 3, July 1974. Can someone confirm which side the castle nut goes please?
