Mirrors...

#1 PostAuthor: damien.wrl » Sun Jul 19, 2020 10:02 am

Have done a search and have seen the silicon suggestion, how do I stop a mirror vibrating as the revs rise... reluctant to try pulling it out, does the mirror come out so support can be put behind

You can try the method that worked for me. Get hold of as heavy as you can get wheel balance stick on weights. With the mirror glass adjusted as far as poss to one side you can flex the black plastic shell far enough to slide the adhesive weight in and stick it to the rear side of the mirror. Do that at all 4 compass points and the extra weight stops the vibration completely. Heavier the better and it means not risking breaking the glass by trying to remove it.

Are they Pattern?.

I found originals are much better, the Copy's were pretty much useless after about 20mph...

The copies are useless if they're not rubber mounted ones like the originals. There are good copies and copies that don't work...

Mine are also original and the mod I described earlier worked for me.
