The schematic shows a pin (92043-089) near the output shaft where the drive sprocket goes. Am I correct in assuming that this pin has something to do with the drive chain oil pump and is therefore superfluous on a Z1-B rebuild?

Yes! it's the pump drive pin.
Not needed if no chain oil pump.

Has anyone got one of these going spare?
Although I’m using an O ring chain, If I’m to explore the option of making the chain last longer using the chain oiler this pin is the only part I haven’t got, I have got the hole in the output shaft.
CMS have the pin at Eu2.00 plus Eu14.00 postage, similar story with ones on eBay USA. Ridiculous for something you can tape to a postcard

Have you looked at 92043-109 on the Z-Power website? Can't work out if this is the same as 92043-089.

I doubt it Steve, they'd use the same number if it was. I'm guessing the 92043 means 'solid pin' (as opposed to a roll pin) and the second part is either the size or just where it is on a master list of pins.

According to Cradley's site, 92043-109 superseded 92043-089, so I'm guessing it will fit?

I just checked the CMSNL website, they do list the Z1A oil pump pin as 92043-109, so yes, Steve and Kwackman are right. I'll stick one on my next order, thanks.
It is a roll pin by the way, not solid.
