UK 73 Z1 Paintwork

#1 PostAuthor: wilsonsjw11 » Fri Oct 09, 2020 12:31 pm

Can anyone on the forum recommend a quality paintshop who can carryout a paint job for a 73 UK spec green and yellow Z1.I want the paint 100% right and the lining 100% right.
At the moment I await an email reply from Heinz Loblein but would like a UK alternative to avoid potential shipping problems.
Regards
Steve.

You state UK 73 Z1.

Did the UK version differ in some way from the Euro or US version?

Steve,
Sean has recently done a couple of Zed paint sets for me: a Z1000a1 & a Z900A4 - I was pleased with both jobs.
He's also very competititive on price which is nice :D

I can recommend Richie at motorcycle FX. Painted countless Z1's for Dave Orritts Restorations so knows what goes where. Done a few repaints for me as well and always pleased with his work.

Only slight issue is he's based in Lancashire (Ormskirk).

I used Ritchie for a blue Z1B set. Top quality, good guy. Recommended.
