Just trying to pull the piston out of the front master cylinder. The ally is furry and the piston stop is a little rusty, I've given them a good scape / clean and dropped some ATF / Acetone mix in there, left for a few days......and it's still as tight as. It won't pull out.
Are there any tricks out there please?
Cheers

Re: GPz11 master cylinder
Standard dodge to remove seized pistons in calipers is to replace bleed nipple with metric grease nipple and use a grease gun. If you cant step down the output hole in the master cylinder you could try connecting the banjo fitting of the rear caliper to the end of the front master and stand on the rear brake.

Cheers Al, but this is the master cylinder, the piston stop is stuck solid.

Connect the two master cylinders together using the banjo's of the rear brake hose and stand on the rear brake.

Re: GPz11 master cylinder
It worked beautifully, I really had to stand on the rear brake so it wasn't coming out by any other method.
Cheers Al, you're a star.

Re: GPz11 master cylinder
I was starting to think you meant circlip!! If you didnt get a squirt of brake fluid into the front reservoir then you may have another problem; blocked bleed hole!
