Z1 4-4

I have a set of 4-4 exhausts taken off a Z1 with no stamps.
They are in poor condition, but I don't know if they are repro or original. They were on a bike that hadn't been restored or touched for many years so I suspect too old to be repros given their condition.
I'm guessing there will be some easy to spot details that will tell me.
Any pointers gratefully received, thank you.

72-73 Z1s had a 'peashooter' coming of the baffle (the one in the photo is not an original but made to look right) - I don't think the later Z1A or B had them?

Does the joint where downpipe meets muffler have a 'band' to hide the weld? If not, is the weld chrome plated or painted with silver?

I'd say the main clue is the quality of the external welded seam. It's pretty scabby on the OEM ones and nice and neat on the repros. I was also thinking about the peat shooter baffles, but not sure if theses featured on the Z1a/b..

Band is chrome plated.

Judging by the one picture, I'd say they are original. What is the date of manufacture for this Z1?

They were on a very early Z1-A. It came from the states and the rest ofvit seems pretty unmolested, original paint, toolkit etc.
I thought Z1-As had stamped 74 pipes, but of course a set of 73 pipes could have been fitted in the last 45 years before repros were available.

I thought Z1A and Z1B’s had a cover strip over the weld - though I could easily be wrong.

I researched that with Dave from Cybike and were unsure for the Z1-A, depends what you read.
Also, Z1-B have stamping, again not sure about the A.
My uncertainty with these is they just seem too old to be Repros and were on a bike that would seem to have been untouched since before repros were available.

A few more pics. Trying to decide whether it's worth repairing them, just cleaning them or selling as is.
Thanks for everyone's input

Worth repairing as they would be worth around £3k in an as new condition. (repaired and rechromed).

Cool, I'll get me welding goggles on.
