#1 PostAuthor: Martin B » Mon Nov 16, 2020 5:53 pm

Has anyone used these decal sets, are they any good or should I be looking at other options?

Someone told me they buy the kits from 'Image Works' who are just around the corner, I can recommend them

Thanks. The decals look good in the images although it’s hard to see the exact quality. I might look at contacting Image Works directly :D

I have used the people in your first post many times on various bikes and their quality is very good IMHO

These are listed by Hutch club member who was the go to guy for Z paintwork until he recently retired.

On the subject of decals, specifically warning decals and labels, John Clifton in Australia is producing top quality reproductions by using artwork created from originals and then cleaning the image. They are superb reproductions and were actually cheaper than the set I'd previously bought in this country for my Z1-B. Not sure if he does other Zeds but it might be worth asking if you're looking for labels such as "Tire and load data", "Brake fluid", "Engine oil" and the like. I found him through John Brookes restorers parts book, and he highly recommends him. Contact John Clifton at donjohn214@gmail.com. I'm not his agent in the UK, but was just really impressed with the quality of his work. :D

I remember years ago at the Scottish Bike show, I had an A2 on show, and a guy asked me if he could trace the decals on it as he had a transfer business, I think it was called Sunrise Graphics, haven't heard of them for years.
