Hi,
I have a US import GPZ1100B1.
The ignition switch is knackered and any key will turn it.
I’ve had a search for a new switch but none seem to be like mine.
It has the steering lock pin coming out from the bottom of the lock, not the side.
Any idea where I can get one or maybe it’s possible to dismantle it and fit a new barrel ?

Those switches are not very very much in demand and can be found everywhere.

The other type, thats; not really much like it, will not fit but is available. It may be possible to switch the barrel over from one of the other type, but i really could not say. What i can tell you is that the electrical contact side of the switch is easily accessible and easily refurbished and they work well both electrically and mechanically when cleaned up well.

All I can find on eBay is this one from the states with the yolk and trip meter for $200 but with no key
