Any one used a tank sealer product ?
I want to seal up a tank on another Kawasaki rx I have as they are prone to leaking ( it is 36 years old now ) I hoping that someone can recommend a good product they have used and one that is going to seal and last , any help is greatly appreciated

I have used this stuff before and not had any issues but you do need to be sure there is no rust before coating. They do bio rust which I have also used with good results for de rusting.

I used Flowliner on my Z900 approx 5 yrs ago, and (so far) it has stood the test of time.
Worth mentioning though, is that my tank had some pin hole leaks and the Flowliner slightly blistered the paint were it bled thru - no big issue, and better than a leak :D

Also used POR15 Rust Prep and Sealer on another Kwak - again pleased with the results - 2 years on and the tank is clean as a whistle and no leaks.

Would use either again if I needed to.
Cheers Tim

Thanks I’ve got really great paintwork so I obviously want to clean out the tank without damaging the paint I will have to do some more research on the subject
