Tank Liner

Hi Guys,

I never thought I’d hear myself say this but I now have a need to line a tank. It’s not a Z tank but a tank of another manufacture.

So, those of you that have bought and used tank liners, which have you used? Which are the best? Which are the most cost effective?

Any input would be much appreciated and apologies if you’ve discussed this in detail before now.

Regards

Hi r3sc

I use the tank liner from Restom, if it's used properly, according to the manufactorers standards, it lasts for at least 20 years.
It comes in a kit with degreaser, deruster and a two component resin. It takes a few days to apply it and after the tank is lined you have to wait a week before putting fuel in. There are several different kits, depending on how much fuel the tank can contain and the material of the tank itself (steel, aluminium, glass fiber).
