Mikuni Velocity Stacks - Mesh Covers

#1 PostAuthor: rpeters » Tue Jan 26, 2021 7:41 am

I have fitted velocity stacks to my RS34's and would feel safer with mesh covers, the stack diameter is 75mm but I cant seem to find the covers anywhere. Do Mikuni actually make them or does any one know where to get them?.....do they actually exist!
Cheers

One thing to bear in mind - they can seriously restrict air flow.
I had a set on my Z1R with CR's and it ran like shite with the meshes fitted, but great without!
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Nothing to do with carbs but when I worked on aircraft interiors the mesh size had to be very large to allow for explosive decompression. The calls on airflow through mesh are surprising
