In the Dec 2020 Tansha there is a guide to obtaining an age-related reg. Part 1 of the guide includes the words,
"...if your bike was imported before (2013)..." "...and this might be a surprise, it is a UK bike that has lost it's registration? DVLA will ask for NOVA even on a bike that states on the Dating Letter that it is a UK market bike."
The guide then goes on to state that you just download the application form and post it off to Belfast. Having attempted this for my 1975 Z1-B (for which I've lost the V5) I've come to the conclusion that the process has changed since the article was written, probably due to Brexit. There are numerous references to changes after 1st Jan 2021 and there no longer appears to be a downloadable form, just a crap site with limited drop-down menus that do not cover what I am attempting to do.
Has anyone tried to use this process since 1st Jan to re-register a UK bike, or have they had a registration application returned by the DVLA due to the lack of a NOVA number?
