Wheel refurbishment

Hi Chaps ,
I wonder if I could pick your brains again please ?
My KZ1000 K1 has some nasty corrosion on the wheel hubs due to it long sleep in the barn !
As part of my re-commission process I should like to get the wheels vapour blasted , and repainted prior to fitting new tyres .
Am I correct in thinking that these wheels are old style Magnesium alloy ? If so does this require a some specialist ? rather than the usual run of the mill alloy powder coating company ?
Does the wheel require diamond cutting to polish the rims and spokes ?
Can you recommend any companies that I may contact for quotes .
