Has anyone else had a problem getting the piston out of the front brake caliper while trying to renew the seals,?
The piston comes out but hits the mounting bracket which doesn’t leave enough room to pull piston out,,,!
On a 1976 Z900 single front caliper,,,?

Hi Stogmuller
you have to remove the mounting bracket first by unscrewing the two bolts.
put the piston back in the caliper before you can remove the mounting bracket.
Good luck
