Z1b Sump

I’m looking to remove the sump base casing whilst the engine is still in the frame.
Unfortunately I don’t have a bike lift, so going to be approaching this whilst on its centre stand.
Before I start, looking for any helpful tips as to how best to go about it.
My own concern is how to remove the remnants of gasket easily.

Razor blade or flattened copper tube to remove the gasket if it doesn't come off clean.
Once you have removed all the bolts a sharp tap sideways with a rubber/nylon mallet should break the seal.
There's no dowels on the sump pan.

Hi KwakaRaskal

do it just like zed1015 discribed and when you put a new gasket on, apply a thin coat of grease on it on both sides. This will help to remove it easy the next time.
